If you want to participate in society, you need the COVID vaccine

Future. U.S. vaccine mandates are increasing each day, especially as COVID infections surge from the more-infectious Delta variant. With 100 million eligible U.S. residents still unvaccinated, every sector of society is trying to push people to roll up their sleeves… otherwise, the economy may never be able to fully recover.

With Pfizer receiving full FDA approval for its vaccines, business and cities all around the country are doubling down on requiring vaccines for employees and customers who want to participate.

• Cities. New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles are all requiring vaccines for most indoor functions or large-scale events.
• Businesses. Goldman Sachs is requiring bankers to be vaccinated, Delta Airlines is charging unvaccinated workers an additional $200 for insurance premiums, and Chevron is requiring vaccines in order to to work on oil platforms.
• Government. 19 U.S. states and Puerto Rico require workers to get vaccinated.
• Colleges. Institutions like Louisiana State University and Ohio State University are requiring staff and students to get vaccinated in order to participate in on-campus classes or attend sporting events.

“The way to regain the upper hand in this fight is requiring vaccinations — specifically vaccine mandates,” says American Medical Association head Gerald Harmon. More and more industries are heeding that call… no matter the political blowback.
